2 generations of Girl Scouts meet 91 years later

Chaska

When Troop 15974 visited Auburn Manor, they experienced a once in a lifetime meeting with Girl Scout history.
Helen Olson was a Girl Scout 91 years (4 generations) ago. She continued as a Girl Scout and eventually as a leader for 15 years. “Being a Girl Scout Leader was my favorite part” says Helen.
The Girl Scouts in Troop 15974 gave Helen lots of heartfelt care and a ‘girl made’ blanket as part of their Journey Badge and Bronze Award. In true Girl Scout character, the other residents received a caring touch and blankets, too.
What a great reminder of Girl Scouting’s history to the Troop and Girl Scouting’s legacy to Helen!
